An exciting addition to our Wildrence: Immersive Labs, Acting In Immersive is a one of a kind site-specific, hands-on practical workshop and perform experience, where participants will bring their proscenium techniques inside a ready to use immersive theatre set. In these classes, actors will learn from successful immersive show directors and actors, while honing their skills within the curious depths of Wildrence -- New York’s premier space for all things experiential.

 

Through the power of original scene work combined with lights, sound, and music, participants will be able to immediately apply immersive and interactive methodology. Actors will focus on techniques that harness their full instrument and skill set as an artist. Finding the extents of creative expression through movement and contact with the audience, this visceral learning experience is a must-have for any person acting professionally in the ever-growing immersive & experimental theatre genre.
